A chartered surveyor with over 20+ years experience in complex Business Rates and L&T issues. Richard has a particular bias towards empty property advice and temporary occupation solutions as well as being the force behind the data driven systems. His background includes being Chief Operating Officer at Altus for 8 years and an Equity Partner at Edwin Hill.
Paul has specialised in business rates for over 25 years working in both the public and private sector. During this time he has represented a huge range of clients on a wide variety of property types across the UK including standard commercial and industrial occupations, hospitals, chemical plants, hotels and pubs as well as many other specialist properties based on contractors or receipts based valuations. In addition to advising on rates liability Paul has extensive experience providing advice to both Landlords and Tenants on rent reviews, lease renewals and lease re-gears.
Joe heads up our agency team specialising in the acquisition and disposal of commercial property including offices, warehouses and land throughout the Northwest and Midlands. In addition he offers landlord and tenant advice to landlords and occupiers. Joe previously headed up the agency team at Altus Group where he worked for 15 years alongside the other members of the Roberts Vain Wilshaw team.
Rick is a chartered surveyor with over 35 years experience in business rates in both the public and private sectors. He worked at the Valuation Office for 30 years so has an in depth knowledge of how that organisation works. He also worked with the VO’s Specialist Rating team for a number of years, so is used to dealing with high value / complex industrial buildings such as large factories, distribution warehouses, cold stores, chemical works and data centres. Additions for rateable Plant and Machinery can be significant and need to be evaluated and costed. Rick has the experience to ensure this is done correctly and rates liability is suitably mitigated.
Jane has over 30 years experience in advising on office and warehouse acquisitions & disposals for clients ranging from funds and property companies, to high net worth individuals and small property owners. Jane focusses predominantly on the Warrington/Runcorn market and her experience goes back to the Warrington and Runcorn Development Corporation days and over 20 years at the Eileen Bilton Partnership. What Jane doesn’t know about this market isn’t worth knowing.
A chartered surveyor with over 25+ years’ experience in portfolio and asset management. Peter has been involved in all sectors of commercial property with a particular focus on Offices, Retail and Distribution, from forward funding to turnkey construction . In the past few years Peter has been involved in the seeding and development of a residential property portfolio for vulnerable adults.
Gary is a technology, process, and system design professional, with over 10 years’ experience designing and building systems for leading professional service organisations across the legal, financial, and commercial property sectors. Gary is passionate about bringing efficiency and simplicity to complex and often laborious processes. As our Head of IT, he will be driving forward the development of our proprietary commercial property data system ‘Prop Data’ and practice management application, 'CORE'.
Stephen joins the team with over a decade of business rates knowledge and experience. Stephen previously worked with the RVW Directors and specialised in business development before attending Salford University to start a journey to become a Chartered Surveyor. He has honed his skill as a rating surveyor over the years, successfully navigating his way through the complex CCA system to consistently achieve significant client savings on a wide variety of property types across the UK.
Lisa has a European Law Degree and has worked in various industries including financial services, public sector funding and the charity sector. All her roles have included business development, relationship building, networking and reaching out to new clients, she is looking forward to developing her role in the commercial property sector.
Andy has almost a decade of business rates experience and has worked with the Directors in previous businesses. It’s great to have Andy back in the fold as he brings a wealth of business rates knowledge and has great skills in routing out the right people.
